Why Another Church?

To Care For Real People

Crossroads is designed to reach people who are at a crossroads in their life and don't have the answer for choosing which way to go. Many people around us reach those crossroads everyday and have nowhere to turn. Too many of them have tried church/religion and though they feel that God must have the answers, they have seen all too well that "God's people" aren't able to help them any more than pop-psychology.

To Reach Those Outside The Church

We want to reach those who have been turned off, intimidated, or hurt by churches in the past and those who do not have any church background at all. We are not in competition with any church in Lakewood or Pierce County. In fact, we think we are all on the same team striving to grow God's Kingdom by reaching diverse segments of culture.

As the Apostle Paul said, "I have been all things to all sorts of people that by every possible means I might win some to God. I do all of this for the sake of the Good News." 1 Corinthians 9:22-23 (Ph)
